Jennifer B., Hygienist

Jen is one of our awesome, competent and knowledgeable hygienists. She graduated from Prairie State College in 2005, with a degree in Dental Hygiene and a certification in in local anesthesia. She has worked with Dr. Sertich for 5 years. Patients appreciate her chairside manner, which helps put them at ease. She is very thorough, yet gentle. She has 2 daughters, ages 12 and 13. “I pride myself in staying on top of the latest technology and continuing education to provide my patients with the superior care they deserve.”

Miranda A., Hygienist

Mandy is one of our favorite hygienists at Merrillville Dental Center. She graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 2000 and has been with our team since 2004. Mandy is friendly, gentle and loves educating her patients on their oral health. She’s also an incredible team player and is proud to help do her part. “If I can be a part of restoring someone’s oral health and make them smile, then I’ve done my job.: Mandy has been married to Joe since 2004. She loves going to Michigan and spending time with her husband and two children.

Emily D. Hygienist

Emily graduated from Ivy Tech S.B. in 2014 and has been with the MDC since 2016. In addition to being a hygienist, she’s also trained as a dental assistant and loves helping in every area of the office. You can find her on the weekends drawing or painting or tending to her succulents.

Paige’s smile is contagious and has won the hearts of countless patients since she joined the team in 2020. She is recently engaged, loves traveling, seafood, and spending time with her friends and family.
